Bundaberg Port Marina is the most popular port of entry into Australia, the gateway to the south Great Barrier Reef, and also a great place to safely leave the boat for the cyclone season. Bundaberg is located at the Burnett River estuary. The country is flat and not very inspiring, but it has a fantastic cycle- and hiking path: The Coral Coast Pathway. Please watch out for kangaroos!
