Contest Yachts Open House

As the 2023 season truly gets underway it’s time again for our annual Contest Yachts Open House, this year taking place on Saturday 15 April, 10am - 4pm.
The day’s programm includes guided tours of the yard and construction halls, including fascinating demonstrations of our unique Lloyd’s register approved infusion and engineering processes.
One tour is timed for 12.00.

In the halls you can inspect the Contests 49CS,50CS, 55CS, 67CS and 72CS, and in the water we’ll have the finished 49CS, 50CS, 55CS and 59CS open for viewing and enjoying the exquisite outfitting.

We announced the exciting introduction of long-range all-electric propulsion with the Torqeedo system at BOOT Düsseldorf. This is initially for the two new models, the Contest 50CS and Contest 49CS, with the intention in time that the option will extend into further range models.

• Unique new propulsion system combines 50kW Torqeedo Deep Blue 50 and ZF saildrive with powerful 42.2kWh BMW battery sets
• High-capacity battery sets run a/c and other appliances, extending silent mode to life at anchor as well as underway
• Power regeneration via reverse generating propeller, plus two in-hull Watt&Sea hydro generators, and Solbian solar panels
• Massively extended long range for distant voyaging via 20kW DC generator and 400l tank replenishing the BMW i3 battery set
