Located on the western end of the Djurgarden, Wasahamnen is the closest marina to central Stockholm. There are trams closeby to take you in to the city centre (about 10 minutes) or there is a hop on/hop off ferry next to the marina which goes to all the central districts. Alternatively, we walked to Gamla Stan, Stockholm's old town in about 25 minutes. There are lots of restaurants and bars close to the marina and many attractions are close by. The marina has 126 berths catering for boats up to 20m LOA and 6m draught but boats of this size should call ahead. it was busy when we visited in late July but we were able to get in. Berths can be reserved online through dockspot.com. It is always fun to take your boat in to the centre of a capital city and we had a very enjoyable 4 days there exploring Stockholm and enjoying its attractions.
