Karlskrona in south-east Sweden is Sweden's naval city. Sweden has been an important naval power for centuries and the charming old town of Karlskrona is really worth a visit. In particular we enjoyed the naval museum. Museums are really well done nowadays and this is no exception. The submarine hall was particularly good and I enjoying looking over a Swedish nuclear submarine. If you are interested in ships and the sea, then this is a must and it is free!
